Yay, so I've finally got an outline for a good critter done, and I wanted to know what you guys think. For now, its just one outlines, but I will have more, I promise. So! These guys'll be called Riff Dragons or RD's for short. I... Don't have any info written up for them yet, but I'll get to it. Sometime. Here he is. :] Made in MS Paint in about... an hour? There're still some issues with the outline I need to work out, but I think its good so far. :] I'll post a colored version as soon as I get it done. Which should, hopefully, be some time tonight. Lemme know what you think! <3~

I...love it.
The only comment I have is that I can't tell exactly where the ground is...It's back legs reach further down than the front, so it throws your persepctive off, as well does it make it look like the body is twisted/slanted. Try lengthening the front legs so the front left one (the one in the foreground) is even with the back left (the one in the foreground) and the tail. Do the same for the front right and back right.
I think that's the only critique I've got. Other than that, wonderful job. It's a very interesting pose and quite fluent. I really like it.

THIS IS CONAN. :D He's manly, as you can see. WOOTPARTIALLYCOLORED. My god, pixel shading is SOHARD. This is my first time ever doing it. Which is why its taking SUCH A LONG TIME. For that, I am sorry. ANYHOO. I'm having troubles with shading the body... Every time I try, it turns out looking chunky and weird.. So, I was hoping one of you might know betterrrr? I've looked at tutorials but they don't seem to help. D: Also, I'm not sure about the hair. Though I kinda like it. Ho hum. Hope you guys can help!

Pixel shading is hard, and incrediably time consuming. But...it looks SO COOL. Pixel art is my favorite.
I can't really offer any advice, aside from looking at some pixel art on DeviantArt. Maybe studying examples can help you better learn how to go about creating your own style? That's kind of how I learned.
Good luck! So far, it looks amazing.
EDIT: Oh, and try saving it as a .PNG file. That should fix the distortion you get once you upload it. PNG = love.
